Our band originally started in the new year of 2002 with our drummer as the original bassist. When our drummer never turned up we changed our bassist Ian to the drums and brought in our current and hopefully permanent bassist Lenny. This was the start of IMMUNITY. We went through a number of names until we got our present one; from Consume to Elysium, then to our current name: IMMUNITY.
Our songwriter Geoff, who is also our lead singer and guitarist, comes up with most of the music, which gets modified slightly by Ian and Lenny. So far Lenny has also written one song and Ian has written one song.
Ian = Started off originally as the bassist to the band and part time drummer when the original drummer could not make it to rehearsals. We managed to stick Ian behind the drums and keep him there when we brought in out new bassist, Lenny.
Lenny = Originally joined the band in the back of a Maths class. Known as a good bassist he got dragged into the band. The first band rehearsal went well, then it all started falling into place from there. With all the main bass riffs coming from the guitar Lenny changes them into a more jumpy grungy tune.
Geoff = Originally started the band and was in the original line up as main songwriter and music man. Nothing could happen without this man.
Our first ever gig was ruined by the sound. Not our fault but then not a direct occourance of S.L.A.'S ethier but the the problem was the poor equipment.The mics were the main problem as they were not working. This made Geoff throw his guitar at the floor and end that set. Due to popular demand for Geoff we came back on, then finished our set then after the headlining band. Most of our lined up gigs are with other bands such as DV8 or NFL. (Both top quality bands, I suggest ya see em both Lenny.)

Recently, we have played at two mates 18th b'day partys, for are mates rob and gary. It was a laugh, but not exactly a real deal. |
